Hello all! It's been awhile since I've updated, I know, but here I am, letting you all know that I am indeed live and well.

Why the beach scene, you ask? Isn't it January *Miss-Rita? Shouldn't it be snowing? Well, I have an answer for that, yes I do. This little birdy is going south for the winter. Yes, south. But *Miss-Rita, you're already south! Yes, yes I am, but this time I'm going a little lower...and a lot west. To...Hawaii!

Oh yeah, I'm all sorts of excited. I'll be leaving in ten days, and I'll be there for a week. How exciting! I've never been, and I've been given a wonderful, generous opportunity by my boyfriend's family to go. While the prospect of spending a week with them makes me more than a little nervous, I hope it will help me relax when I'm around them. So, wish me luck on that front, please!

While I'm there, I'll be taking tons of pictures if I can, so you'll be sure to see some activity on my submissions coming up. I've also been working on another little picture, but I've got a bunch of other projects that I've been working on, as well as a commission that isn't deviantART related. That, in particular, is going to be my main focus since I promised that I would try to have it done in less than a month, but with some drama in my life, I've been a little jaded to working on it. It's a long story, but it's nothing to worry about.

Alright, well I think that's it for me! If any of you have ever been to Hawaii, let me know some cool places I should check out, or things that I can do that are relatively cheap, please! I hope you're all doing wonderfully.
