Well, it's been forever and ever since I've updated my journal, so I thought I'd give anyone interested a quick peek at the current life of *Miss-Rita:

I've started college, again! I've got five classes, and they're all pretty easy for the most part. I'm taking College Success, College Composition, Psychology, Algebra II (for two and a half hours, icky!), and US History. It's a lot of work, but I know that I can do it.

I spent Labor Day weekend with Josh, and let's just say that it was one of the best weekends of my life...but I know that even better ones are around the corner. I know he probably won't ever see this, but everyone should know that I'm crazy in love with that boy. I get to see him again in November!

I'm getting a new car next week! Yay me! It's a Stratus, and it was my grandpa's, but since he died and it's not being used, my grandma is giving it to me. How wonderful is she?

I had my twenty-first birthday back on the tenth! Thank you so much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. You guys are awesome.

I got my hair cut, finally! It's super cute, so I'll have to post pictures once my face clears up. It's time for a new ID anyways.

That's all I can think of to add for now! Life is busy, but it's so amazing.

As the title suggests, I'll be heading up to Anthrocon in about four days in order to see my boyfriend and hang out with the All Fur Radio crew. If you are, by chance, going to be there too, lemme know and we can meet up! It should be tons of fun, but really, I'm just looking forward to being with Josh again. This is just an expensive excuse to go see him!

Speaking of expensive, I'm completely out of money thanks to this trip, so if you want to be a cool bean and donate a sub to this now very poor girl, I would appreciate it greatly. You have no idea.

Ah, what else? Well, I have a shiny new computer, and as of today I have officially re-installed Photoshop Elements, so now I'll be good to create again! Yay! I'm also planning on uploading some pictures to deviantArt once I get them off of my memory card.

Hmm, what else?! I don't know if anyone actually reads this anymore, so if you do and want to know something specific that's going on, lemme know! Otherwise...well, uh...yup.

Oh, and remember to tune into my show on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays! Obviously I won't be able to DJ while I'm at Anthrocon, but maybe I'll be able to sneak onto my boyfriends show.

Here is everything he needs.

It's been awhile, hasn't it? That would be due to the super crazy busy life that I've been living lately. It's been fun though, I can't deny it. Hawaii was everything I wanted it to be and more, and I had an amazing time with my boyfriend and his family. We created some lovely memories there, and I'd love to go back with him someday. You guys can tell that I took a couple of pictures there, since I had posted a few before I took off again, but there are more that I will submit later on.

So what else have I been up to? A lot!

I am an aunt, again, this time to the handsome Conrad and Caeleb. They're fraternal twins, and for twins, they were big boys at birth! Conrad, the younger, was 6lbs and 15oz, while Caeleb, the elder by a full minute, was 6lbs 10oz. Both were somewhere around 19inches. Happy news, yes? Well...there's more.

Somewhere within a week of the babies being home from the hospital, the boys went in for a little check-up with their doctor. Conrad was pretty jaundiced, so he had to go in for a little blood test (Ouch!) and, after three more to confirm, they found that his sodium was much too low, and his potassium levels were way too high (this can be potentially fatal). So like that, half the family was packed and on their way to the nearest children's hospital. A week or so later, we finally found that little Conrad has been diagnosed with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia. The short version? He'll need hormone replacements for the rest of his life, but he'll live a pretty normal life otherwise. However, while at the hospital, he developed an infection in his tummy, but luckily the antibiotics helped so he doesn't need surgery. My brother, the father, was flown in quickly from Iraq thanks to the Red Cross. So all is well (as well as can be considered) on that front, and Conrad is finally off of his feeding tube as of today. Please keep him, Caeleb, his mom and dad, and his older brother in your thoughts and prayers please. He's not quite out of the woods yet, but he is doing so much better than before.

Of course, while all of this was going on, I had to drive my sister to the ER because her sugars (she's a Diabetic) were up and over 732. She had a mild DKA, and could've gone into a coma. Luckily we got her in and treated pretty quickly, so she's doing fine now.

...Right?

Well, other than all of that business, it actually has been fun, but let me tell you this; I am glad to be home. Though, awesomely enough, I did manage to get a short visit with Josh on my way back to my house. Yay! I miss him already though. Boo.
